| Tests |
Next monday, we are having progress tests in school! I am trying to study hard so that I can pass the test with flying colours. But, my sister keeps irritating me. One moment she will ask me to help her take something and then she would ask me to teach her how to do a question. :(
The piles of undone assesment books are getting higher and higher. How I wish there was a peaceful place where I could do my assesment books all alone. |

| National Day |
| Today was National Day. Our nation celebrated it's 44th year of independence. There was a national day parade in the night. The parade consist of 10 chapters. Each one filled with life and colour. I stayed at home to watch because my mother did not buy the tickets. The parade started off with the parachuters free-falling. There was also a part which talks about the defence of Singapore. After that,there were performers with their vibrant and colourful outfits,soldiers marching smartly in their uniforms and the sea of audience dressed in red and white. My favourite part was the fireworks display the end of the show. The fireworks looked like a gigantic and shiny flowers, bringing light to the night sky. I hope the next year the National Day parade will be better than this year's. |

| National Day Carnival |
| Today, our school had a National Day Carnival. One of the ministers were there. Our mother drove us to school. When I got out of the car, I could hear music blaring. The school was full of fun and activity. There was a car boot sale, where people sold things in their car boots. There were also people selling pizza,cakes,popcorn,ice-cream and more. There were also many games. There were train rides, bouncy castles and "water ball". As I was queueing up or the "water ball", A lady approached me. She asked me if I could stand at the entrance to welcome the minister. I accepted the request. So, when the minister arrived, I had to wave the national flag to welcome her. After that, I went to the canteen to buy some things to eat. My mother bought my sister and I a chocolate cake each. I ate that up and went to buy ice-cream and drinks. After eating, I saw my friend. We decided to try the train rides together. I was quite fun because I was sitting at the front of the train. When the ride ended, we decided to try the "water ball" game. However, there was a queue that was the length of a dragon! I told my mother to queue up for me while my sister,friend and I play on the bouncy castle. We bounced up and down the castle for 4 minutes. Then, we went back queueing. We waited a very long time before it was our turn. I had to crawl in a huge ball filled with air and crawl inside like a hamster. The ball was on water. So,whenever I crawl, I moved forward. Since the ball was tightly zipped up, there was hardly any air inside. I had to withstand the smelly smell of the ball. After the game, My mother brought me home. |

| Extraction of my tooth |
Yesterday, i got my tooth extracted during dinner by my mother. It was during dinner time when I was eating my plate of delicious noodles when my tooth was going to fall off. I ran to the kitchen to ask my mother to pull it out for me. As my mother extracted my tooth a few times, so she have enough experience. My mother asked me to rinse my mouth because there were bits and pieces of noodles inside!
After rinsing my mouth, my mother looked at my shaky tooth and gave it a hard pull. Crack! And the tooth was out! I did not even fell the pain at all! My mother told me she only plucked out three quarters of my tooth, the roots are still in my gums. I rushed to the sink to rinse my mouth. To my horror, there was a lot of blood! After awhile the bleeding stopped. So, I continue eating my dinner. |
